 Abdominoplasty, more commonly known as a tummy tuck, is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures. Whether you’ve just had a baby or lost a substantial amount of weight, or just can’t shake those last stubborn pounds, a tummy tuck is a safe and effective way to regain the body you had or obtain the body you want.

During a tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty procedure, the loose skin and fat in the abdominal area is removed. In the case after childbearing or weight loss, the weakness or laxity of the abdominal wall is repaired before removing the excess skin and fat. This skin and fat is then pulled and excised.
